Handling of personal data
We process personal data in the manner described in the General Data Protection Regulation
(GDPR). Personal data is any information that can be linked to you. For example, it can be your
name and telephone number.
Why we need your personal data
We collect and store personal data in order to provide services that you have ordered. This also includes making payments, sending invoices, verifying your identity where necessary and communicating with you about terms, updates and the like, and creating and providing user accounts. We also use personal data for customer support and to send newsletters or information about offers you have signed up to receive. If you have requested to unsubscribe from newsletters or information about offers, we store the relevant contact information in a blocking filter. If you receive SMS about offers and no longer wish to receive them, unsubscribe HERE. Finally, we use personal data for analytics, product development, security and compliance.
This personal data is processed
When you call our service, the phone number you are calling from is recorded and stored. If you are a billing customer, your name, phone number, address and social security number are recorded and stored, as well as your email address if you have opted to receive the invoice by email. If you are a card payment customer, your name, telephone number and email address are recorded and stored.
How your personal data is protected
Your personal data is encrypted and stored on secure servers and is only accessible to people with special access rights. This means that unauthorised persons cannot access your personal data. The encryption ensures that the information is transmitted and stored securely. All monetary transactions take place via a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. Personal data is automatically deleted when it is no longer necessary to store it.
Companies with access to your personal data
In addition to Red Hat Holdings LTD, our technical provider Viatel Sweden Aktiebolag and administrative providers Akova Finans AB and Strex A/S have access to your personal data.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you visit our website, various types of data are stored locally on your computer, mobile or tablet by means of so-called cookies, mobile identifiers and tracking calls. These are used to customise the content and features of the website to improve your experience. For example, your preferences and usernames are saved so that you do not have to enter them each time you visit the website. A cookie is a small text file that websites ask to be stored on your computer so that your browser can recognise it. A mobile identifier is similar to a cookie, but for your mobile device. Tracking calls are calls made by the browser in the background to allow analysis about the page you are visiting and what has happened during your visit to the page.
Third party cookies
Google and its partners use their own cookies, known as third-party cookies. These are used so that Google and its partners can serve ads to you based on your visits to our website and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google.
Disabling cookies and similar technologies
If you choose to disable cookies, some functionality on our website may not work.
Often the best information for making a purchase is the opinion of other consumers. That's why we allow customers to write testimonials about our service on this website. Testimonials reflect our customers' personal experiences of our service and should not be taken as a guarantee or as representative of all users of our service. To prevent unauthorised use of testimonials, they are published after we have first read and, if necessary, edited them. We will also edit testimonials if necessary for readability or for language errors. We do not necessarily share the views and opinions expressed in the testimonials. Under no circumstances should testimonials claim that our services can be used to diagnose, treat, mitigate or prevent disease.
You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data and, under certain conditions, to have your data erased. If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data, would like a copy or request erasure, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or +357 25 060222.
